Looking for my next opportunity to lead with curiosity and support child development through attuned, relationship-based care.

This is me

I'm Amanthus (she/they), a parent coach, educator, and guide for families seeking connection, not compliance. I see children through the lens of DIRFloortime, where relationships, curiosity, and emotional attunement come first. I support often misunderstood children and help the adults in their lives recognize behavior as communication, not something to control or fix.

As a person with a neurodivergent brain and a parent, I bring lived experience and decades of study in brain development, regulation, and resilience. I've spent my life learning how to create spaces where children feel safe to be fully themselves—and where parents and teachers feel supported, too.

You're in the right place if you seek support rooted in respect, co-regulation, and real-world understanding.

What Families

are Saying

"The way she encourages each child to pursue their interests while allowing space for building skills has been amazing to be a part of."  -- Michelle Wingrove

"Amanthus never ceased to amaze us with the sensitive and intentional way she manages young, impressionable minds. Our son would often surprise us at home with new techniques to help him regulate his emotions and the confidence to express himself freely. As parents, we learned a few things from her, too! We trust and endorse her wholeheartedly." --Trent & Lacey Hughes

"Amanthus’ knowledge and experience with all children, but especially those with extra support needs, is unparalleled. Our family had the immense privilege of both of our children learning from her. Not only that, but her parent coaching and education were pivotal for me as a parent to a neurodivergent child. I work in a field with many childhood development experts, and I learned more from Amanthus with real hands-on skills than in graduate school or with any other professionals I’ve had the pleasure to learn from. Having her support your family will be one of the best decisions you make!" -- Cassy Berry Crain
